Ira Weisburd has been teaching and choreographing folk and line dances for more than 30 years. He has taught international and Israeli folk dancing in Florida at regular Wednesday and Saturday classes in Margate as well as Wednesday classes for the Boca Raton Folk Dancers and Mondays at various venues at Valencia Isles.

Ira and Diane Weisburd He is especially known for his Latin-style line dances, and has made his mark on the world of Israeli folk dancing through his own dances and through collaborations with well-known Israeli choreographers.

Ira also has taught at folk dance workshops, including the Beaver Folk Dancing Special Event in Pennsylvania. He gives workshops throughout the USA and recently embarked on a world tour with workshops in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Ira lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife Diane.
