Calliópe's Coffeehouse was located at 2927 Meade Ave. in San Diego, California. It was run by Patty Peggy and Kathy Morris.
Calliópe's had its grand opening on May 3, 1978. Teachers for the three-day Folk Dance Festival (held May 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7) featured Shlomo Bachar, Alexandru David, Graham Hempel, and Athan Karras, with a live-music party by Jasna Planina.
