Founded in 1973, The Experience was a short-lived "coffeehouse" located at 1709 Lincoln Blvd., Venice, CA. It was a spin-off of the Intersection.
Their new format was teaching to continue intermittently throughout the evening for all levels of dance experience. Doors opened at 8:00 p.m. with special events from time to time (for instance, Koroyar appeared in October).
It became Luz' Place in May of 1974.
