The Open Circle was founded by Marvin Smith and Paul Gale (former owner of the Museum in Pasadena), who sorely missed having a coffee house nearby with the atmosphere of The Intersection. The Open Circle opened its doors in 1975 with the grand opening Halloween Party drawing over 100 people. The doors closed in 1977. The Open Circle was located at 1810 Anaheim Boulevard in Long Beach, California. Here are a few ads and flyers.
