Pistu Papp is an electrical engineer by trade.
He has taught at the 1986 California Kolo Festival, 1996 Northwest Folklife Festival, and the Eugene Swing Dance Club.
Pistu teaches Csárdás, Mezosegi, Kalotaszegi, Szeki, Szatmari, Dunatuli, etc. Pistu also teaches American dances such as the West Coast Swing and the Hustle.
He makes a home in Eugene, Oregon.
