Rene'e Park

Rene'e Park is a dancer, musician, composer, teacher and entrepreneur. An advocate for cultural understanding, she regularly engages herself and her family in community events such as the Texas Folklife Festival, Fiesta San Antonio, Asian New Year Festival, and the Texas State Fair.
With her family alongside, she serves as director and choreographer for the performance group and school of Hula Halau Ohana Elikapeka.
Rene'e and family pride themselves on being the official "misplaced" Hawaiians living in Texas. As an Ohana (family), they continue their Aloha by sharing their culture and traditions with the next generations. She and they provide a service that perpetuates Hawaii, its cultures and values.
Attributing all she knows to her mother, Rene'e has taught Hawaiian and Polynesian dances and traditions for over 25 years. Rene'e is widely recognized for her contagious enthusiasm and the authenticity and quality of her work. Hula Halau Ohana Elikapeka has also collaborated with the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Dance Umbrella for dance concerts that include Dance For USA, the critically-acclaimed SA DANCES!, and Dance Around the World at the Institute of Texan Cultures.
She and her family’s work have also been featured in numerous articles written for the San Antonio Express and San Antonio News.
